Brief Info

With its new corporate identity it acquired on 31.October 2006 is in the process of making a construction machines investment to shorten the time vessels need to stay at the port and to provide faster and healthier loading and unloading services, and increase its container capacity, which is 37 TEU/year, to 150.000 TEU/year with a comprehensive investment program over a 2 year period.

With 1300 meter (1422 yds.) quay length, 6-10 meters (20 - 33 ft.) depth, 15 quay cranes and mobile cranes with 5 -100 tons lifting capacity, 16 Forklifts with 3-32 ton capacity, 2 stacking machines with 45 ton capacity, an empty stacking machine with 8 ton capacity, 4 mini loaders, 2 wheel loader machines and other Port equipment, Port of Antalya is ready to meet the present Conventional load and container demands.

The fact that Port Terminal area is 142.000 m2 (1528576 sq. ft.), passenger terminal is 25.000 m2 (269115 sq. ft.) and closed holding area is 3.000 m2 (32294 sq. ft.) is among the factors which enable storing different types of loads and providing different types of services. Besides, Port of Antalya has a 9.000 m2 (96882 sq. ft.) Cold Storage on the west side of our port. Port of Antalya has protective measures against pollution in line with respect for the environmental protection and provides service in an area with customs all of which is subject to holding area regime.

With its building, in the process of renovation, increased security, and Entrance Gate with increased functionality and looks to increase customer satisfaction, our port, result of 5 months' hard work won EN ISO 9001:2000 Quality Management System Certificate on 13 September 2007
